The fully loaded "Kerela" has disappeared without trace off the Angolan coast and was feared hijacked. This would be the first time that a ship was attacked as far south on the west coast of Africa. If the seizure was confirmed, according to the company Dryad Maritime this would be a completely new situation as it meant that no place was safe anymore off West Africa. There was no information on the number of crew members on board the tanker, which was last seen on a position 150 nautical miles off the Angolan coast.
