Efforts are underway to clean up an oil slick threatening part of the world’s largest mangrove forest in Bangladesh.

Local people are collecting oil floating on the surface with their bare hands.

A tanker believed to be carrying 350,000 litres of oil reportedly collided with another vessel resulting in the spill.

Officials told the BBC the oil had spread along a 40km (25 mile) section of the Sela river.
