CHINESE authorities are combating an oil slick off Dalian following a collision between a small locally owned tanker and the Malaysia International Shipping Corporation container ship Bunga Mas Tujuh on Saturday.
According to press reports a fleet of 26 vessels is now employed in spill response although the extent of the pollution is unclear.
The accident occurred in thick fog. No casualties were reported form either vessel.
